In partnership with Coventry University, Prosper has produced ‘Business Support and the Cultural and Creative Sector in England and Scotland: A Review’.
“…the cultural and creative sectors are increasingly aware of the need for business support and engaging substantially – and more so than other sectors – where appropriate support exists and has capacity.”
While outwardly the efforts of Prosper have been focused on providing business support aimed at improving resilience and income streams for arts and cultural organisations, behind the scenes we’ve been up to a bit more. As part of our vision to build a creative economy making arts accessible for all, we’ve undertaken an in-depth review of business support activities in England and Scotland in partnership with the research centre Business in Society at Coventry University.
As Prosper moves to the end of its delivery period, our focus will shift to assessment of outcomes and learnings. We are sharing this review to increase awareness and understanding of business support for the cultural and creative sector enhancing the resource base for learning.
