Daniela started her design practice making large sculptures predominately using concrete and metal and then moved onto working with smaller interior forms and products.
The shift was to find a way to use art practice to create functional objects that could be used in every day life. This lead to developing knowledge of new materials such a jesmonite, a material that looks like concrete but weighs far less making it more suitable for an interior environment. Her next steps are to create beautiful objects that represent the perfect balance between art and function.
