Forge Edition 3: Dominic Mandrell

Dominic Mandrell has been producing design and illustration in a freelance capacity since 2005.

His background working for specialist entertainment advertising agencies means he has cut his teeth working for some of the biggest music promoters, artists, agencies, festivals and venues in the business. As an events organiser and DJ the boundaries between creating artwork and marketing for external events clients and producing events himself blur all the time. Projects he is involved with include The Glittering Plains dance tent at the Walthamstow Garden Party and his own brand Soul Picnic and he has organised everything from small street parties and book launches to festivals in the thousands. Dominic has also worked extensively producing artwork, branding and design for numerous charities, start-ups, food and drink clients and local councils including Waltham Forest Council and the Borough of Culture.
