Prosper North: Dingy Butterflies CIC

Dingy Butterflies CIC is a social enterprise that works across Gateshead, North East England developing creative community based art projects in collaboration with artists, creative people, community and creative organisations and local residents.

They believe that creativity can bring people together to understand and foster change in communities and combat and question social issues including austerity, health and wellbeing, environmental and housing.

Through exhibitions, artist’s residencies, workshops, community led and co-created projects they aim to increase creative engagement and participation within the community, develop and improve creative and digital skills, and increase active engagement in local decision-making.

Dingy Butterflies joins the Prosper North community as part of Edition 2.
